My '04 Carving Masterpiece

I completely forgot that I did this until today when my sister posted a carving challenge on our family blog. I was inspired at the pumpkin patch by the shape of the pumpkin itself. It just reminded me of his head. I guess I better get busy and find one shaped like Obama's. I must go to the grocery store and start looking tomorrow.




Tomorrow night is "Trunk or Treat" at church. I will be Glinda the good witch, Kyrie is Dorothy, Daniel the cowardly lion, and Wade will be the wizard of OZ. I made a tin man today and bought a little scarecrow. I am also making a yellow brick road that will lead up to the candy and the wizard behind the curtain. I'm feeling crafty this season. The dog is obviously Toto. I will take lots of pics tomorrow night for those interested.
