Obama Visits Arcadia and I get interviewed by Channel 2 NBC

(PS for my less blog savy readers scroll down to the bottom of the page and turn off the music so you can hear the video...click on the pause button)
This is a long video I pulled off of youtube. If you watch towards the beginning, about 1:45 in, you'll see me holding my YOU LIE sign being interviewed. Don't know if it ever aired as that channel is not in my viewing area. Right before the reporter came to interview me, I asked him if he knew the solar power plant that Obama was opening was built at a cost of $150 million and would supply energy to only 3,000 homes and businesses. That is a cost of $50,000 per home/business. As I asked him that, an older lady next to him started screaming at me to get my facts straight before opening my mouth. I just shrugged at her because I knew I was right. He turned around and said to her, "no, actually, she's right." I guess that qualified me for an interview.

There were a couple of hundred of us there to protest Obama. Many less to support him, although if you read the reports they say the numbers were about equal. His supporters were rude, ignorant, and wanted to cause trouble. They could do nothing but shout "Obama...Obama" and hold up pictures of him. Is that a cult of personality or what? I really don't mean this in a racial way....but the majority of his supporters there were black. And, if you listen to the black woman who is being interviewed after me, she has hopes of him being a great "Unifier". Okay. I get that, but I also get the feeling that they would support him no matter what he does, just because he is black. They don't care what his policies are. He is black. End of discussion. Never mind that he is causing more racial disunitiy than any other political figure I can think of. Here is a great spoof about just that mentality. (BTW, the black woman being interviewed after me really badgered the poor reporter into letting her tell her point of view. Listen as she is done to the more vocal protesters there. Poor guy really got chewed out. I walked off when that started. The girl with long curly black hair and sun glasses in the Obama love shirt is a bit of a loon. Big anarchist/aethiest with a mega phone telling everyone to question religious and political authority. Lady with short hair in blue shirt next to her is a Cuban woman who escaped communisim there for freedom here and is scared to death and mad as hell about what Obama is doing here now.)

Holy Bovine Emissions BatMan..IT HAS BEGUN

Late last night the resident idiot of the WH declared a national emergency over the swine flu. There have been approximately 1,000 deaths nation wide. That is a "national emergency"? I don't want to make light of those who have passed away, but the number of deaths is certainly no where near the annual averages from seasonal flu. Go HERE to see the CDC's seasonal flu reports for the past 10 years. Then tell me why this has been declared a national emergency. Here is some food for thought. Did you know during a declared national emergency the following can happen:

Here is the crux of what can go down. Read it. Understand it. Be ready for it to happen. http://www.ncsl.org/default.aspx?tabid=18504

Article on powers granted to the federal gov't during a declared national emergency. Read it, it's long, but understand it and the implications HERE

This article relates to powers given to FEMA during a declared national emergency. Declaring a national public health emergency is the first step to this.

Liberals and "enlightened" thinkers were scared beyond a reasonable doubt, that President Bush would use his declaration of a national emergency as a power grab, creating a constitutional dictator. Don't believe me? Here is just one article about that very thing http://writ.news.findlaw.com/dean/20020607.html We know this never happened, but now conservatives are scared of the exact same thing and in my opinion, with greater reason. Just look at what the tyrannical Obama has done in his short tenure in the WH. We are in trouble.

Individual Rights Must Take a Back Seat to the Collective

Time for some thorough research people. Look into ICLEI, Agenda 21 and the Copenhagen Treaty which is set to be signed this December. Gadianton robbers anyone?

Oh Boggle...I'm so Boggled!!

For those of you who actually read my blog and don't know...I'm a huge fan of the online Boggle game. I love it. But, I'm too cheap to buy it, so I play one game, close the program, and re-open it to play again...for free. I have two computers at home, both with different Boggle user names.

Imagine my surprise when I realized I was playing against myself on one computer when the other computer wasn't even running the Boggle program. I had played a few games on the other hard drive a couple of hours earlier. As I was playing my last game I realized I had just played it and happened to look at my opponent...and it was ME from 2 hours before.

Now I'm left to wonder if I'm even playing anyone live, or if the server just stores different puzzles and pulls them up randomly or what. My faith in this on-line game has taken a hit. Really it shouldn't bother me...but it just doesn't seem right that I got to beat myself and not a real opponent. It's all about the competition for me.

Sweet Home Alabama and those Crazy @$$ Floridians

The kids had a four day weekend and I decided it was about time to head back north to Sweet Home Alabama. Heck, it's only a 10 hour drive...each way. None the less; we loaded the car and headed out. 5 movies, a book on CD, and much talk radio later, we arrived. We had a blast. I got in my share of shopping and ran the 5K Race For the Cure. Now, let me just say, I've been running 5 miles a few times a week on the elliptical. Street running is NOTHING like running on the elliptical. I felt muscles I haven't felt in a long time. I was so sore Sat. it hurt to move. It hurt to hold still. It just plain hurt. And I'm still hurting a little. So, I've decided I need to street run more. Pound the pavement. Crazy, I know. But if it makes so many muscles work so much I definitely need to do it. I'm thinking about training for the Disney Princess 1/2 marathon in March. If you'd like to run with me let me know.

For the crazy Floridians check out these links:

How about this gem: Miami teen burned for not paying fellow teen $40. Sad. Pathetic. Why would anyone do this to another human being?
http://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local-beat/Burned-Teen-in-Bad-Shape-64223757.html These boys better end up in jail for a very long time!!!

On a much lighter note...A guy pulled out in front of me today from the right hand lane into the left hand lane while he had his RIGHT turn signal on. He then pulled into the left turn lane, but seemed to change his mind 1/2 way pulling back into the lane out in front of me again. I was going the speed limit...60 MPH. As I yell "are you freaking kidding me" at him my three year old in the back seat very calmly says, "Mom. You should honk your horn at him while you are yelling at him." What a smart kid!!!

Awww...He's Soooo Sweet

As I was sitting here looking at my friends' blogs, Dan was scrubbing at my feet with the sandpapered dry skin removing thing-a-ma-jig (don't know what they are called) telling me he wanted to get the dry skin off of my feet. Then, as I was reading Kamilli's blog, Peter Cetera, The Glory of Love started playing. "Mom, get up, let's dance." So I got up and had a sweet dance with my sweet little boy who brings both sunshine and rain clouds into my life on a daily basis. I love this kid!!

The Killers...and The Victims

Wade and I went to The Killers concert in Tampa last night. We had a great time...felt a little old...but rocked out none the less. I didn't like it when the young girl behind me kept spilling her beer down my back as she rocked on and was sorely tempted to do some pounding on her. Here is a vid I took before I was told I couldn't take any. I'll get up more pics soon...really...I promise...there will be so many pics from June to present that you will be sick of seeing my family.
