I don't use the word Hate lightly. I can't think of anyone or anything that I really hate until now. I HATE OUR CONGRESS AND FEDERAL GOV'T. Get the hell out of my life. Stop passing bills without reading them and knowing what they contain. Stop ruining our futures'. Stop enslaving us to the rest of the world!!!
Career politicians need to be kicked out of congress and Washington. This is not how our gov't is supposed to be run. I'm so sick and tired of the crooks, thieves, and liars: the do as I say not as I do crowd. No more. No more I say. I'm heading to the march on Washington Sept. 12th. Be there and make your voice be heard!!!

My Breaking Point
I am officially at the point where I am ready for school to start again. Wow. It only took 4 weeks this time. Instead, I'm getting ready to fly out west with the 3 boys for a month of family fun. Kyrie is at EFY and will meet up with us in SLC. Wade will actually be flying out a couple of times too. I know. You can get up off of the floor now and recover from your shock.
Typically, I get about 10 days into so much family fun that I am screaming to be back at my own house. The last time I spent an entire month away from home with our extended families was back in 1997. So, I guess it has only taken 12 years for me to forget promising myself I would never take that long of a vacation away from home again.
Don't get me wrong. I love our families. I really do. I just also really value my privacy, my alone time, and my sanity. This is why I've decided to rent a car for the entire month, even though it will cost a small fortune. I quite rather like being a weensy bit sane, so have car, will travel. I'm thinking small outings to places like Yellowstone, Jackson, Lava, etc. And who knows....I might just make these small outings without any kids at all.
On a completely different note: a colleague of Wade's sent this to him. I thought it was too funny and wanted to share.
The Doctors weigh in on Obama's plans:
The Allergists voted to scratch it, but the Dermatologists advised not to make any rash moves. The Gastroenterologists had sort of a gut feeling about it but the Neurologists thought the Administration had a lot of nerve.
The Obstetricians felt they were all laboring under a misconception. Ophthalmologists considered the idea shortsighted. Pathologists yelled, “Over my dead
body!” while the Pediatricians said, ‘Oh, Grow up!’ The Psychiatrists thought the whole idea was madness, while the Radiologists could see right through it.
Surgeons decided to wash their hands of the whole thing. The Internists thought it was a bitter pill to swallow, and the Plastic Surgeons said, “This puts a whole new face on the matter.”
The Podiatrists thought it was a step forward, but the Urologists were pissed off at the whole idea. The Anesthesiologists thought the whole idea was a gas and the Cardiologists didn’t have the heart to say no.
In the end, the Proctologists won out, leaving the entire decision up to the assholes in Washington.

Hell....He's trying to own everything else...why not ABC?
This really shouldn't surprise me...but it does make me as made as hell. Come on people. Wake up!! What more is it going to take? The time is now. It is time for a million man march on Washington DC to demand this all stop. Look at the people of Iran. Look at what they are doing. Granted, logistically it is a smaller nation, easier for people to get to where they are going, many are unemployed and don't have to worry about taking time off from their jobs, but if we don't do something now...I'm afraid our country will end up looking more and more like their's rather than vice versa.

Late Monday night, Republican National Committee Chief of Staff Ken McKay fired off a complaint to the head of ABCNEWS:
Dear Mr. Westin:
As the national debate on health care reform intensifies, I am deeply concerned and disappointed with ABC's astonishing decision to exclude opposing voices on this critical issue on June 24, 2009. Next Wednesday, ABC News will air a primetime health care reform “town hall” at the White House with President Barack Obama. In addition, according to an ABC News report, GOOD MORNING AMERICA, WORLD NEWS, NIGHTLINE and ABC’s web news “will all feature special programming on the president’s health care agenda.” This does not include the promotion, over the next 9 days, the president’s health care agenda will receive on ABC News programming.
Today, the Republican National Committee requested an opportunity to add our Party's views to those of the President's to ensure that all sides of the health care reform debate are presented. Our request was rejected. I believe that the President should have the ability to speak directly to the America people. However, I find it outrageous that ABC would prohibit our Party's opposing thoughts and ideas from this national debate, which affects millions of ABC viewers.
In the absence of opposition, I am concerned this event will become a glorified infomercial to promote the Democrat agenda. If that is the case, this primetime infomercial should be paid for out of the DNC coffers. President Obama does not hold a monopoly on health care reform ideas or on free airtime. The President has stated time and time again that he wants a bipartisan debate. Therefore, the Republican Party should be included in this primetime event, or the DNC should pay for your airtime.

Prayer Request
One of Kyrie's close friends from school passed away unexpectedly yesterday morning. It was a rough day to say the least. The funeral is tomorrow. We visited with her family this evening and although they are of a different faith, they would grately appreciate extra prayers for her and her family. Her name is Tasneen Nazir and we will really miss her!!

AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA
Dear President Obama:
You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.
You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.
You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.
You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.
You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.
You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don’t understand it at its core.
You scare me because you lack humility and ‘class’, always blaming others.
You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.
You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the ‘blame America’ crowd and deliver this message abroad.
You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.
You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one.
You scare me because you prefer ‘wind mills’ to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.
You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world.
You scare me because you have begun to use ‘extortion’ tactics against certain banks and corporations.
You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.
You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people.
You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient.
You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.
You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O’Relllys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view.

Anna Maria Island
The kids and I just spent a fabtabulous week at Anna Maria Island. It doesn't get any better than this. It was a last minute trip, so Wade didn't get to go, but we had fun without him. So much fun that I want to buy a beach house there. The sunsets don't get any more beautiful than this. The beaches are beautiful, the surf is gentle, and the crowds are small. What more could you ask for? Pure tranquility.

Feds continue to spit on our constitutional rights

In a May, 29, 2009 posting on the WhiteHouse.gov website by Norm Eisen, Special Counsel to [Alleged] President Obama for Ethics and Government Reform, it is disclosed that the public will be included in a restriction barring lobbyists from having oral communications with government officials about specific Recovery Act Projects. Instead, the public is limited to redressing their government through the written word.
“I am writing with an update on the President’s March 20, 2009 Memorandum on Ensuring Responsible Spending of Recovery Act Funds. Section 3 of the Memorandum…barred registered lobbyists from having oral communications with government officials about specific Recovery Act projects or applications and instead required those communications to be in writing…First, we will expand the restriction on oral communications to cover all persons, not just federally registered lobbyists…We concluded this was necessary under the unique circumstances of the stimulus program.”
The new restriction, although it does not transgress the rights of the American people to redress their government — the option of writing elected officials or visiting their offices in person to register a complaint or comment is still available to the public — severely limits public accessibility to elected officials on matters of governmental performance.
