Hack, cough, cough

Urghhh, the smoke is so thick today in the valley I can't see the hills or downtown. Ashes were falling from the sky on Wed, but haven't noticed any since. We are just glad to not have to deal with the fires and feel for those who have lost their homes. Sad, especially since some were arson.

Hi Dave. Glad to see you in photos anyways. Living large as always.

Now, here is something I find interesting...I set my trip meter in the mini-van a couple of weeks ago. In 23 hours of driving I've gone a whole.....wait for it it is exciting....230 miles!!!! That's it...230 miles in 23 hours. I could've gone to B'ham and 1/2 way back...only in LA!!!

I understand its a different world down there. Portland is great! I have been here almost two years and love the Northwest! Life here is busy as usual, I am currently running two communities now and staying real busy! I also just recently moved into a larger apartment, yes another move..what is that now...8 times in the last 6 years! Oh well, its been a fun ride! So what part of LA are you in? Hopefully ocean side baby! LOL! Well I just thought I would say hi! Are you going to be down there for the holidays? Thought about taking a cruiz down south! I am attaching some photos from here! Board Exams

Wade passed his board exams yay!! Everyone go and celebrate for us tonight!!! Here are my two little monsters...literally BTW We had a great time at Universal again yesterday. Kyrie went there last night with a church friend for their Halloween Horror thingy. She said it was fun. I'm trying to talk Wade into going with me. Since we haven't had a date night since like April or May I think it is a reasonable request.

Loud Neighbors

Living in close quarters with sooo many people certainly has disadvantages. We have some middle easterners living behind us, just off of our bedroom. They are very loud and frequently have friends over late into the night socializing. Fine, but for some reason they always have their window open, even when it is cold, and it sounds like they are socializing in MY bedroom. Others walk their dogs at all hours of the night or are just walking around for some odd reason so late and don't even try to hold their voices down. Basically, we hear everything that goes on inside and outside. The police were just here again, thanks to the noisy neighbors, and the nice people who live upstairs who are kept awake late too. I wonder what happened? I'm frequently worried that they will think it is me and my family complaining and do something not so nice to us. Sigh....only eight more months here though. Hopefully we'll all survive the craziness.

Universal Studios Hollywood

Well, we went to Universal and unanimously decided we prefer it to Disney. Closer to home, shorter lines (today anyways), cheaper, and the rides are more the kids "speed". Here are some photos...
